After releasing a capsule of technical goods back in September, Carhartt WIP is back and ready to release a dark and mysterious campaign for winter ’21. This latest campaign comes complete with a short film inspired by Neo-Noir thrillers and TV shows.
The film is focused on bringing life to “dark, cold landscapes” and comes complete with pops of neon light, dark overlays and vignette-style effects. as well as drawing inspiration from neo-noir film, filmmaker Joaquin Bayle and director Sylvain Sey also look to the work of American painter Edward Hopper.

Showcased within the film and the images, we see a range of outdoor silhouettes including the likes of puffer jackets, heavyweight cotton hoodies, denim jackets and corduroy overcoats. The puffer jacket shows up in a camel coloured design and featured two large frontal pockets complete with zips. Elsewhere, we see the corduroy coat arrive with a dark black base accentuated by contrasting orange logos and details.
The film is set to arrive soon, but for now, you can check out the winter ’21 collection available on the Carhartt WIP website. In other news, the outdoor-ready Jil Sander+ x Arc’teryx FW21 collaboration is finally here.
